A Senior Account Manager is a sales professional responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and activating new accounts while passionately representing the mission of RightNow Media. They build and manage a strong pipeline, lead strategic demos, and guide organizations through the decision-making process. Once an account is acquired, they clearly communicate our onboarding approach to ensure a successful launch and smooth transition to the Account Consultant. This role balances new account acquisition with establishing the foundation for long-term customer success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report directly to Director of Account Management.
- Conduct online demos of the RightNow Media @Work platform that clearly communicate the mission of RightNow Media and drive new account activations.
- Own and build a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive prospecting to generate new leads, conducting outreach, and fully self-coordinating demos within the CRM system.
- Manage and maintain multiple ongoing conversations with different accounts. This includes following up with existing accounts and potential accounts. Keeping detailed notes, managing a personal calendar of events, and helping accounts to launch in a timely fashion. Be able to quickly connect with business owners to understand their needs and how RightNow Media at Work can help them equip families, resource groups, and develop leaders.
- Pass off accounts to the Customer Success Team seamlessly and consistently.
- Contribute a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the team culture.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals on a consistent basis set by Director of Business Accounts.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not required. Equivalent, relevant professional experience is acceptable.
- 2–5 years of experience serving in church ministry or working with faith-based organizations.
